Quarry, place where the stone is extracted and much more. We can say that it is the place where Man obtains the product created by nature. The place where begins the transformation of this wonder that is the rock.

The process of extracting a rock these days is faster and requires less human intervention, but it is still a process exposed to weather conditions. Here is my admiration for all the professionals who work in extraction, because it is an extremely tough and difficult profession.

To extract a rock several mechanical processes are necessary: vertical and horizontal hole to pass the diamond wire; horizontal cut using a saw; later vertical cut to separate the "cut" wall that will be taken down; the blocks preparation choosing the masses alignment; blocks separation using the drilling tower or diamond wire; blocks classification by families and typology and transport to stock area or to customers.
