Black Sparrow

Characteristics

Commonly known as Tiger Skin Marble, Black Sparrow is one of the most distinctive variations of Portuguese Estremoz marble. It is characterised by black and grey veining flowing across a white background, creating a strong and elegant visual contrast.

The intensity and distribution of the veining vary from slab to slab, occasionally producing subtle shadow-like effects that enhance the stone's natural character and uniqueness.

Applications

Black Sparrow is suitable for both interior and exterior applications. It is commonly used for bathroom surfaces, kitchen countertops, wall cladding and flooring, as well as a wide range of architectural and decorative elements. Its distinctive veining makes it particularly suitable for bookmatched installations, where mirrored slabs create striking and visually impactful compositions.
