The Italian Travertine or Roman Travertine comes from the region of Tivoli, we can find two large extractive areas right in the center of the village, extractive activity is one of the main sources of work together with the Hotel Industry. The quarries classify their blocks by typology of the holes that characterize this stone, by their color and density, the blocks are grouped by lots and are mainly destined for the export market.
