The tumbled finish gives natural stone an aged appearance, with rounded edges and an authentic character.

The tumbled or aged finish gives natural stone a weathered appearance. The stone is placed in a rotating vibrating drum together with smaller stones. As they repeatedly strike one another, the edges become rounded, creating a naturally aged look. This finish can be applied to stone pieces up to 800 × 400 × 30 mm or 600 × 400 × 20 mm. The tumbled finish is widely used in classical architecture and is a popular choice for restoration projects, country houses and outdoor applications. Limestone is the most suitable stone for this finish.
