Characteristics
Lioz Gold is a cream to pink limestone characterised by a consistent presence of darker fossil inclusions and occasional golden tones. A variation of the renowned Lioz limestone, it combines the stone's distinctive character with warmer colour nuances that enhance its visual appeal.
Like other Lioz varieties, it has played an important role in Portuguese architecture and is particularly associated with many historic buildings and public spaces in Lisbon.
Applications
Lioz Gold is a remarkably strong and durable limestone, suitable for a wide range of interior and exterior applications. It is commonly used for flooring, wall cladding, façades, paving, staircases and other architectural elements.
