Characteristics
Calacatta PT is a marble characterised by a white background crossed by large grey and, occasionally, brownish veins, typically flowing in the same direction. This distinctive veining pattern gives the stone a strong visual identity and an elegant, sophisticated appearance. When slabs are bookmatched, the veining creates striking symmetrical compositions, transforming wall cladding and flooring into remarkable architectural features.
Quarried in Vila Viçosa, in southern Portugal, Calacatta PT is a marble highly valued for its beauty, exclusivity and exceptional quality.
Applications
Calacatta PT is particularly suitable for luxury interior spaces, including bathroom surfaces, high-end hotel projects, countertops, flooring and wall cladding. Its distinctive appearance and refined character make it an excellent choice for projects that seek to combine elegance, visual impact and timeless design.
